As a teacher, I would ensure my students are educated about copyright and fair use. I would make sure students would not use materials that they were not allowed to and also double-check my materials. I learned a lot about copyright and fair use, especially fair use. I had heard of the concept but never fully understood about it until now. Implementing technology is bound to have some problems. One of the major ones is academic dishonesty. Students frequently use things like AI and Chatgbt to do their work for them. A solution to this is going back to technology-free learning. Many teachers are resorting back to paper and pencil for many assignments. My experience blogging has been very brief. This is my first time blogging for this class. I like that you can write a long article on blogs. You can have a good platform for expressing different essays and viewpoints eloquently. I have learned that blogging is much more similar to writing articles than social media. I don't like that there is less interaction with other people on blogs. I feel like blogging is definitely geared more towards people who enjoy writing. One web 2.0 tool I would use in a classroom is Quizizz. Quizziz allows teachers to create assessments for practice or testing, teach new skills, and analyze texts. Teachers can also make asynchronous lessons interactive by adding quiz questions to the video. I used Quizziz in high school and really liked it because of how versatile it was.
